Welcome, to this first official blog entry of the Dancing Devil Dog! Throughout this journey, we will see the many adventures that surround this javin jarhead.
To begin I will look back on this most recent event - last weekend our dancing showcase at Collin County Community College (Quad C from now on).
We had spent the majority of last week and the last few months preparing for our final dance show. So, needless to say, we were a little excited not only to perform, but also to be finished with another semester!
And I must say that in comparison to my previous dance class, this one seemed to really grow into a close group of friends that really has become more like family!
Our first performance was Thursday night! It was likely for most of us the least enjoyable, as it many of us were frustrated with one another off and on and ready to get out there and perform! Although, I would say that we did not put on as good a performance that night as the following night!
Friday, turned out to be a better night, partially because it was our last performance, but also because many of us had more friends and family show up that night! So, I do believe that was on our minds a bit, and to me it seemed like our energy was just a bit more than the night before!
It was sad after the performance to know that the semester was almost over and that Saturday morning would be our last official class!
Although, rumor has it that we may be starting our own dance ensemble over the summer! So, in fact, this may not be the end, but merely the beginning!
